Institute of Montreal (IIM) at the Quebec Social Forum
Pondering over pluralistic Quebec: continued reflections
beyond Bouchard-Taylor Commission

Goals:
Cultural diversity transcends the reasonable accommodation of differences
for our “living together” in the contemporary societies.
In this regard, the Intercultural Institute of Montreal proposes
a discussion-conference on four memorandums presented to the Bouchard-Taylor
Commission. We shall present an interdisciplinary perspective including
Anthropology, Theology and Religious Studies, as well as the “intercultural
approach” developed by IIM.
